This is Ingrid Puusta from Estonia and Tuuli Petäjä-Sirén from Finland, both Top20 ISAF ranked windsurfers, preparing for the RS:X class European Championships in Helsinki 2nd to 7th of July and for the Rio Olympics. DN icesailing Open Finnish Championship regatta at lake Pyhäjärvi in Säkylä, Finland 19th and 20th of March 2016 organized by Borgå Segelsällskap. Photos from three first races on Saturday. On Saturday races started after 1½ hours of waiting for the wind. Sunday no races because of no wind.   The second slideshow contains 139 photos of individual DN sailors.

The cold winter eased for a while at the end of January. Ice and snow melted from some of the beaches in Hanko, the most southern city of Finland. Immediately a group of kiteboarders gathered to enjoy the open sea and opening of the kiteboarding season 2016. While waiting for all kiteboarders I had the opportunity to get some photos of knee-injured Rita de Kite, one of the central persons in Hanko kiteboarders.
