This year the Espoo-Suursaari offshore race was replaced by Helsinki Two Star Bengtskär Runt. I went there adventuring in the middle of the night with my 4,9 meter RIB. I read notes from the different two handed teams who attended the race and, whoa, it was challenging for me too. The greatest sailing regatta in Finland with about 250 boats competing in 18 different classes. Three days of tight race sailing and nice social life in Hanko, the southernmost town of Finland. Regatta is sailed just outside of historical Ekenäs old town and the, on poles built, restaurant Knipan.  Photos (59) are from Saturday in fresh South-West wind and changing between sunny and cloudy. Five races were sailed on Saturday. Great thanks to the friendly onshore personnell of ESS and the RIB drivers Kasper and Vincent who took me wherever I wanted on the race course.
