The funniest and greatest wooden boat event in Finland organized by Suomenlinnan Pursiseura. This year already the 31st time almost 200 yachts racing along the shores of Helsinki. The light wind and sunny weather guaranteed that people enjoyed both racing on the sea and after sail in the Suomenlinna harbour. Totally 246 photos, but anyhow couldn't get you all. First day at the Finnish Championships with altogether 25 yachts competing at the Ytterskär race area. Quite perfect sailing conditions and one of the warmest days of summer. Results at HSK race pages.
Once again Hanko and HSF showed the best sides of summer and sailing for the more than 200 boats attending the biggest annual sailing regatta in Finland. Helsinki Regatta has already during 60 years been the top sailing event in Helsinki. It is nowadays organized by an association Helsinki Sail Racing Management (HSRM) which has the leading Helsinki based sailing clubs BS, HSK, HSS, HTPS, M, NJK and SPS as members. First day at the Nordic Folkboat Finnish Championship organized by HTPS. Perfect sailing weather in warm breeze from South-west at Kruunuvuorenselkä in Helsinki. Photos are from the first day of total three. Two boats from Naantali, with Herman Saari and Roni Saksi at helm, leading after the first day. Results.

The final day at the Hanko Regatta was sunny and windy. Because of the hard wind 6mR and 8mR classes did not sail on race course D at all on Sunday, so final results are based on Friday races only for 6mR and 8mR. 5m class results are based on results from Friday and Saturday. All other classes were out enjoying the sunny but demanding sailing conditions. Traditional HSS Spring Cup (ex. Suunto Cup) with 38 yachts in six different classes: 606 (9), Albin Express (5), Dragon (5), Folkboat (4), First 31.7 (10), X-99 (5) . Totally two races were sailed on Saturday. On Sunday the wind was too light for sailing. 80 photos mainly from Saturday second race. Results.
