The soon 50 year old 505 class had their Nordic Championship in Helsinki organized by HSK. Photos are from Saturday, second day, first race. Clear sunny weather with 5-7 m/s wind from east following the sun. Final results. Also met (once again) my photographing fellow Kari Wilén, who happens to be a sailor from the only Finnish team which ever won a World Championship medal in this class. This happened 1972 in Hanko, Finland.

The final day at the Hanko Regatta was sunny and windy. Because of the hard wind 6mR and 8mR classes did not sail on race course D at all on Sunday, so final results are based on Friday races only for 6mR and 8mR. 5m class results are based on results from Friday and Saturday. All other classes were out enjoying the sunny but demanding sailing conditions. Helsinki Regatta was sailed on Saturday in light wind and sunny weather. On Sunday a rain front with hard wind had reached Helsinki from South-West and caused some issues to the organizers. Of six planned races on three different courses only two races were sailed. Audi Dinghy Regatta organized by Hangö Segelförening in the most southern city of Finland. For the Laser 4,7 class the planned National Championship status was cancelled because of too few registered sailors. So for all classes including also Laser standard, Laser radial, Europe, and Zoom it was a normal ranking regatta. Totally 58 dinghy sailors […]
Audi Dinghy Regatta organized by Hangö Segelförening in the most southern city of Finland. For the Laser 4,7 class the planned National Championship status was cancelled because of too few registered sailors. So for all classes including also Laser standard, Laser radial, Europe, and Zoom it was a normal ranking regatta. Totally 58 dinghy sailors were sailing two days in light wind and weather varying between sunny and cloudy. The 154 photos are from Saturday two first races.

Sailpix first time out in spring 2014. Sun and good wind at seasons first NJK junior regatta. Check the 60 photos of the Laser and 29er classes from Sunday two last races. Results on the NJK webpage. Because of the mother's day not early enough out at the race course, so totally missed photographing the Europe class. All I got is some shaky video when testing the new video camera. Sorry for that E-guys, must get you later this season.
