Hanko Regatta 2016

The one and greatest Hanko Regatta was sailed on the second weekend of July in varying winds and some fog on Saturday morning. Purjehdusliiga 2015, NJK

Purjehdusliiga (Finnish sailing league) is a series of three regattas with race sailing between Finnish yacht clubs. This year 12 yacht clubs are competing in Vaasa, Turku and Helsinki. The races are short fleet races which take, depending on the weather conditions, about 10-15 min each. Champion of Champions 2015, NJK

The Finnish Champions in 12 different classes gathered at NJK to race for the Champion of the Champions title with the NJK Match Race centers J-80 boats. The winner of the year is the Match Race team Markus Rönnberg with crew Daniela Rönnberg, Emil Nordlund and Isak Sydlund. Second the Folkboat team with Hermanni Saari and third womens Match Race team with Marinella Laaksonen at helm. All results.

Hanko Regatta 2015

Once again Hanko and HSF showed the best sides of summer and sailing for the more than 200 boats attending the biggest annual sailing regatta in Finland. Sun, wind and action in the final at NJK Open Spring Cup which is a G2 level match race regatta sailed with J80 yachts. Champion of Champions 2014, NJK

Champion of Champions at NJK is an annual weekend event where the Finnish champions in different classes meet at the end of the season. This year the real big Champion is from the X-35 class – Anssi Lydén with his team Susanna Kukkonen, Timo Kari and Erik Mansner. NJK Match Race Center Cup 2014

Last of the season 2014 Center Cup at NJK Match Racing Center. Forecasted strong wind of 12-14 m/s in the darkening Tuesday night attracted five teams to race in really cold 10 deg Celsius temperature. The gusty wind set its challenges and the teams had to do their best to master the tricky conditions.

Youth Match Race Worlds
